Veteran motorcyclist John Goodall has died after crashing in the Manx Grand Prix on the Isle of Man.Mr Goodall, 67, was taking part in the Manx Grand Prix Senior Classic race on Monday when he came off his bike in the opening lap. He was airlifted to hospital but died of his injuries.
Only last week he had received the Spirit of the Manx award, having competed in every single event since the Senior Classic race was founded 25 years previously. He won the inaugural event in 1983.
