The cast and crew of popular Australian hospital drama All Saints are today mourning the loss of their colleague Mark Priestley.The actor, who played emergency department nurse Dan Goldman, apparently committed suicide yesterday (27 August). He was 32.
His character had recently married fellow nurse Erica Goldman, played by Jolene Anderson, in an episode watched by 1.3 million viewers.
Jolene is “struggling to come to terms with the death of her dear friend overnight”, a statement from broadcaster Channel 7 said, while the rest of the cast were “devastated” to hear of the news on set this morning.
Mr Priestley had been appearing in All Saints since 2004 and had several other parts on television and in theatre.
My regards to all the friends and family of Mark. He was my favorite character on All Saints and he will be sadly missed, he is a big lose to the TV world.

What a lovely guy he seemed to have the world at his feet. How wrong we can all be. None of us kow what is going on deep nside another human being.
