FA Cup win dedicated to former chairman

Eastwood Town owner Robert Yong has emotionally dedicated the club's famous FA Cup victory over Wycombe to former chairman Keith Smith (pictured).

Keith died last December after a long battle with cancer, aged 53.

He took over as the Badgers' chairman in 2003, with the club was struggling both financially and on the pitch.

But he oversaw their remarkable rise to the UniBond League Premier Division, the club's highest position in the non-league pyramid.

Mr Yong said: "We have come such a long way in a short time and I'd like to dedicate this win to the late chairman, who played such a big part in getting the club to where it is today."
